Paper Work

So ... I was doing a new application for a known client today.. I had to dig an old folder out. It had Bela's writing on it, actually, all over it. Banking, assets….. The little flowers and paisleys she drew while working on that.






It made me Sad...:(

Great Dinner And a Crappy Movie :)

So... we went out to Houston's For Dinner. The Food was awesome as usual. We stuffed our faces with smoked salmon (Bela’s Favorite) and Of course Asim's Spinach Dip.

I had the Thai Salad with steak and ate every last Peanut on the plate... Yummooooo



And then... TA DA DA DA!! Asim decided to Hook us all up with a bigger and better. His Desert idea that only happens once every week!!. The hookup that no one can miss

It was Wednesday and Wednesday is buy one get one free at Carvel. Now how can we say no to that? Mind you the $3.50 will make a Major contribution to our mortgage this month :)

All I can say is it was down hill from there. I fought my best to avoid going to the movies on a Wednesday night with nothing really good playing. Dam iphone! Ammad took it upon himself and went with a four start rating for a movie no one has heard of. Bad Lieutenant.

Needless to say it was not the first time we walked out of a movie after 45 minutes of pure torture. Seriously!! I tried after the 30 minutes but Asim was snoring and Ammad and Zara were still hopeful.

What can I say the singing Iguanas finally dropped the ball and we walked our merry asses out of the theater thinking WTF was that???

Magnificent Bela

Umm where do I a start.... I have always admired Bela's and Bee's relationship...in fact I admired it so much that i wanted to become apart of the duo and make it a trio....so i named myself Khadija and learned basic phrases in Urdu I even have a mat for prayer ( haven't used it yet ). Its weird but by knowing them I have found pieces of me in their personalities .... Bela caters to my strive for success and being a well respected woman in Corporate America... while Bee caters to my dorky side always laughing and singing and dancing ... just knowing how to make people feel comfortable regardless of how bad situations in life can be... Good luck with everything Bela I will take care of Beenish(A)

Bee and her cat problems...

So, not sure if a lot of you know about this or not, but Bee has a problem with animals. They don't seem to like her; in fact they despise her. It got to a point where Bee had to actually get rid of her cat because it would hiss it her when she got near, and that was when the cat was being friendly with her. Bee doesn't know this, but I actually have video evidence of some of the things her cat used to do to her. Now keep in mind this was before Bee lost weight, but it was when she was trying to get in shape. Please follow the link below to see a new segment I like to call "Bee vs. Animals"

Daal Chawal and me

I love Daal!
I think its the best and easiest food to cook and eat. You can throw it over Rice or salad, Eat it with nan or Wheat crisps... Daal defines Desi's.
Bela  ... i suggest you get this right...   prevent arguments that usually start with " how come you didnt cook anything??"  and the typical answer i Worked all day!!!! do i look like Rahat on GEO ??
So little one this is the key to a man's heart and the hall way to the bathroom :)

My Baby Sis...

Well, where should I start. Oh yeah, great idea and good job Bee. Ok ok, no more, "How are you or are you ok." I know you'll be fine. Your a very strong woman! Even though I've been away from home for a while I still miss my little sis dearly. It's funny, because it's not the same calling her up as she drives home from work at all hours of the night and vents to me about her day or puts me on hold for the 10th time because work is still calling her after she's worked 12 hours. It's not the same when she lets me know she's home and runs through the house covering her mouth from the smell of ummy's cooking or the smell of bleach. I can't just catch her in her shrine picturing her with a scarf wrapped around her head, under her leopard covers, watching t.v., and with the lap top on her lap and the cell phone in her hand. I can't just talk to her and ask her how the whole families doing and at the same time hear the latest and greatest or not so greatest going on there. So you see, life without Bela and the thought of her not being at mom and dads makes me sad. But she's somewhere better. She's finally out of that shrine and believe it or not on the verge of becoming domesticated and even though she was independent, she was still not there 100%. She's with a strong individual (my little bro) who will help guide her. Not to mention the many other bright sides Bee mentioned.. Lol..

Just so we all are on the same page.....

I am not Bela’s Lesbian Lover!!!!

It’s so funny!! Everyone around me keeps asking if I’m OKAY. Like I got divorced or something... All jokes aside all my friends know how close I am to Bela, and her moving away is tough but it’s something I’m getting used to everyday. And as I grow older, I’m getting more used to looking at the brighter side of things.

Pros of Bela moving away:




1. New Apartment and my own sofa bed in Jersey




2. Anticipation of making plans and getting together for vacations.




3. Spontaneous weekend get always to Jersey, Florida or maybe Spain :)




4. Bela hosting a party. And enjoying watching her be domesticated.

3 Idiots

Yes!!! i went back to being a FOB!!! and im not the only one going down like that!! ZARA  was the accomplice. it wasnt hard to convince her.. she agreed to move to the dark side if i bought her dinner. You all know how that goes....
In simple words we went to see an indian movie playing in a hialeah theater. yup!! the spanish are converting one at a time. KD ,RO and Kathleen...Holla!!! so we are taking  over the Dominicans, and the Cubans as well.
 So my FOBs and islanders go watch this movie 3 Idiots!!
As for Bela im sure thats the first thing she will do after she comes back form her boring Honeymoon in Hawaii...BLEH!!

So here it goes.....

Since the blog is about Bela, it’s only fair I start my story related to the title... long story short I got lost trying to make it to Miami international airport!! What a Mess! The traffic on Palmetto, the parking!!!!! Not to mention the DRIVERS.... I was always the passenger while Bela took the wheel and drove me through Miami... i made it effortless ....I always gave wrong directions and still don’t know left from right unless someone points in that direction. But....  I made it.... got the”missed my flight” AGAIN  Klan !!!Ahem Ahem ZARA!!!! And took the safer route (turnpike) back home :)
